MacKinnon and his team have helped identify and rescue 167 child victims and arrest more than 50 sexual predators and purveyors of child pornography since 2010 by monitoring chat rooms and social media, using international law enforcement networks to share information, and by analyzing lurid photos and videos for small but vital clues.
