The Partnership for Public Service recognized 23 individuals and teams as 2025 Samuel J. Heyman Service to America Medals® honorees. This year’s honorees were recognized in three groups. The honorees from the first group persisted to find answers to long-standing national challenges.
The Partnership for Public Service recognized the 2025 Samuel J. Heyman Service to America Medals® honorees at its 24th annual awards ceremony on Tuesday, June 17, at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg Center in Washington, D.C.

On Sept. 11, the 23rd annual Samuel J. Heyman Service to America Medals® gala took place in Washington, D.C., to honor exceptional public servants who are dedicated to serving our nation. At the gala, the Partnership presented its 2024 Spirit of Service Award to the co-founders of “A Starting Point,” Chris Evans, Mark Kassen and Joe Kiani.

This distinguished list of 25 individual and team honorees was selected from a record-breaking pool of over 530 nominations and reflects the extraordinary efforts of federal employees across dozens of agencies and offices.
